The 3-0 Falcons got first half goals from Fr. Rylee Sullivan (15th minute, assisted by Ali Doucette) and the eventual game winner from Sr. Sabina Sturgeon (21st minute, assisted by DeAnna Figueiredo) to pick up the 2-1 non-league victory at home on Danvers Youth Night.  Danvers got outstanding play from Sturgeon, Sr. Claudia Drakos and So. Maddie Hanas along the forward line.  Jr. Emma Sutherland made her return to the pitch after a season ending injury a year ago, and hit the crossbar.  Danvers got strong play in the midfield from Sr.'s Ashley Freitas and DeAnna Figueiredo along with So. Kaia Glover.

"This was a back and forth game.  Fenwick hit our post twice and they had some very strong play in the midfield.  We had a ton of golden opportunities ourselves that we just either didn't put away or their goalkeeper made the necessary save.  It was a good hard fought game.  It was great to see so many 3rd grade girls in attendance for our youth night.  The future is certainly bright."

Danvers improves to 4-0 on the season.  They'll host Masco on Monday night at 6:30.
