Danvers 0 - Brookline 4
Danvers played well early, but Brookline settled in on their home field and put a lot of pressure on the Danvers end throughout. Brookline opened the scoring in the 16th minute. The hosts got their second goal with just three minutes to play in the 1/2. Sr's Addi McCarty and Lila Flynn defended well and Sr's Ashley Freitas and DeAnna Figueiredo performed well in the midfield.

"Giving up a second goal right before halftime was tough. We weren't creating a lot of chances ourselves so to go down by 2 was tough."
Brookline scored only a minute into the second half to go up by 3. They added one more in the 14th minute. Gk Taylor Landry made 15 saves on the afternoon.

"Unfortunately, we didn't show up with the same energy and intensity that we played with on Wednesday at Masco. Brookline is a good team that plays an extremely difficult schedule, but I felt we didn't play up to the level were capable of. We'll have to put it behind us because we have 2 huge home games coming up against 2 very strong Swampscott and Marblehead teams."

The Falcons got positive play off the bench from So's Kaitlyn Rosa, Sophia Blodgett, Flavia Locilento, and Cassidy Randall played a physical game in the back.

"I loved the play of some of our younger players. They're hungry to contribute and they left their mark on the field today."
