The Danvers Varsity Girls Soccer Team earned a hard fought 3-1 win at Beverly this afternoon.  Senior Captain, Georgia Prouty scored all 3 goals in a 15 minute span to pace the Falcons.  Freshman, Ali Doucette, junior, Lila Doucette and junior DeAnna Figueiredo got the assists.  Senior captain and goalkeeper, Maddie Dembowski made an outstanding, leaping save to her left in the first half to keep the Panthers off the scoreboard.  She made 7 saves in all on the day.  Freshmen, Maddie Hanas, Ali Doucette and Cassidy Randall all played outstanding defensively for the visitors.  Junior, Lila Doucette filled in at center back and was the co-player of the game along with Prouty for her solid play all over the field.  Juniors, Ashley Freitas, Sabina Sturgeon and Claudia Drakos also played very well.

 

Danvers improved to 2-0 on the season.
