Danvers got 3 goals in the final 10 minutes of the game to outlast Peabody at home in the rain.  Ali Doucette scored the eventual game winner with 10 minutes remaining off a corner kick served by DeAnna Figueiredo.  5 Minutes later, big sister, Lila Doucette scored on a low sorching shot, unassisted to put the Falcons up 2-0.  Rylee Sullivan would make it 3-0 with 2 minutes to play on a fantastic one timed shot off a cross from Figueiredo.  The play was set up by Emma Sutherland.  Taylor Landry made 2 saves on the evening to post the shutout.

"Give Peabody a ton of credit for keeping us off the scoreboard until the end of the game.  Their team fought hard and made things very difficult for us.  We had a bunch of excellent chances in the first half but we hit 2 crossbars and their keeper came up with some big saves.  The longer the game stayed 0-0 the more difficult it got."

"Ali's goal was perfect and just what we needed.  She had a great game.  Rylee and Emma had incredible games as well, along with a strong second half from Maddie Hanas playing out of position for us.  She has really stepped it up."

Danvers improved to 6-2on the season and will travel to Beverly next Monday night.
