Danvers 6 - Bishop Fenwick 0
The Falcons hosted Bishop Fenwick on Monday afternoon looking to bounce back after a tough defeat at the
hands of Peabody in their last outing.
The Falcons came out strong in the opening half generating several opportunities and controlling the ball
in all areas of the field. In the 12th minute junior Zach Calabro would open the scoring from inside the
18 with the assist provided by junior Bradley Piscitello. The Falcons would not take long to get their
second as Piscitello would covert a free kick from about 20 yards out. The remainder of the half would
see the Falcons owning much of the possession with Fenwick taking advantage of an aggressive Falcon
forward group trapping the Falcons offsides on several occasions. The teams would head to halftime with
the Falcons up 2-0.
The second half was again owned by the Falcons as Fenwick was unable to generate any scoring
opportunities. Fenwick would continue however to frustrate the Falcons with their backline, again seeing
the falcons offside on several occasions. Sophomore Connor DiTomaso would open the second half
scoring in the 59th minute with his second goal of the season with a tap in close after a corner which was
quickly followed by sophomore Gianluca Locilento’s second of the season. Luca Tirella would cap off the
afternoon scoring twice late in the game bringing his season total to a team high 3 goals.

The Falcons now 3-5-1 face likely their most important match up of the season while traveling to
