Salem Academy visited Dr Deering Stadium for the first time in the regular season

as the Flacons were looking to build on their victory versus Gloucester last time out.

The game would be battled evenly throughout. Danvers would score first with

junior Gianluca Locilento finishing following a great thru ball from senior Muhammed

Cham. Salem Academy would tie the game midway through the half with a great

goal from about 25 yards out. Unfortunately for the Falcons, Salem Academy was

not done in the first half taking a 2-1 lead in short order following a turnover on the

Falcons turnover.

The Falcons would tie the game in the 49thminute after a great passing sequence

which saw several Falcons touch the ball. The sequence would end on the foot of

Bradley Pisictello who would finish in close tying the game at 2-2. The remainder of

the second half saw chances on both ends with the Falcons holding the possession

advantage but neither team could find the back of the net with the game ending in

a 2-2 draw.

The Falcons will visit Winthrop on Wednesday looking to get back in the win column.
