“No matter what happens in life, be good to people. Being good to people is a wonderful legacy to leave behind.” – Colleen Ritzer 2013

The Danvers Girls Soccer team picked up their first home win of the season Tuesday night, improving their record to 4-1-1.  Danvers wasted no time getting on the score board with Morgan Mscisz heading home a corner kick served from Meaghan McCarriston.  Just 2 minutes later Meaghan McCarriston got a goal herself on a pass from classmate Emily Murphy.  In the 9th minute of the game Allie Zunick scored on a break away from a through ball set us by Katherine Kowalski.  Sarah Unczur finished out 4 goals in the first 10 minutes when she buried a feed from Teagan Gillis.  Danvers passed the ball extremely well and got 2 more goals late in the half.  Meaghan McKenna finished off a pass from Zunick and Sarah McCarriston made it 6-0 on an assist from Olivia Davis.  Read more...
